Every so often I remember everyone else's post-shower ritual *doesn't* include using a microfibre cloth to clean their phone, watch, and computer, and I fear how much people are straying from god's light.

I'm still a bit amazed he said this out loud at Labour conference years ago, but also sad how much my 2021 self was prescient in making it into a GIF back then:

Greetings from the UK, where our centre-left party (Labour) has been trying this for a while, with predictably terrible results.
But gosh darnit, they're not gonna let how they're polling worse since they started this approach, or multiple peer-reviewed studies showing it doesn't work, stop 'em..
