So if a movie can give someone that sense of being part of their favorite fandom as they geek out about something they love, and that brings them joy and belonging, maybe even new lasting connections, I love that so much. Even if you don't care for the movie, you can at least appreciate the energy.

Because while the stereotype of rich furries flying out to every con and having tons of friends to hang out and fursuit with is what you tend to see in your feeds, the reality is a lot of us aren't that well off, can't get super involved, and often struggle to find a community at all...
