As the technical person in my family, my FIL always asks me to fix stuff around his house. He has an Alexa and several smart bulbs and smart plugs that stop working periodically. A few years ago they built a small addition on their house that they call “the cabin”.

I’m going to weigh in n the pie discourse: pie is good. I like pie. Pastry crust is one of our finest creations but I will not speak ill of crushed graham crackers or chocolate cookies. Pie fillings are great, all delicious in their own ways. That is all. 🥧
