I'm remaking my Apogee #TTRPG Engine into something amazing. I will be making AI tools to help create characters and modules and run single and multiplayer adventures, and I want to build a community around developing it to make it the most complete universal RPG system in the world.

Well... It isn't exactly the best result, but I did make a Commodore 64 style game in TIC-80, which doesn't just mean graphics and sounds from the 80s but an annoying difficulty factor as well. Still, a fun time, and I got a good new game out of it! #IndieDev #GameDev #TIC80 #IndieGames

I've been stuck in Poplar Bluff, MO this week until I get more money for travel on Friday. At least the library where I've been working on my games plays good music. They've been doing Studio Ghibli music most of the morning, and they just put on the Song of Storms from Legend of Zelda.

Well, I'm glad I finished my jam entry early. I wouldn't have had much of a chance to work on it as I suspected. I'm stuck in a dirt lot behind a gas station in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, which is the literal middle of nowhere.

Stopping the night in a Pilot station about two hours out of Paducah, Kentucky. 750 miles down, 1700 left to go. Out of cash and having to move slowly until Friday now. This trip already seems like forever. But I have to make it by October 31st. That's when my tags expire on my van.

While I've been in West Virginia, I've been using the dining area at Sheetz to work on my games. Now that I've left Elkins and am on my way to Arizona, all the Sheetz stations don't have electric outlets, and there's only a few days left in Cosmic Horror Jam. Damn the death of "third places."

I didn't get any work done on my game for Cosmic Horror Jam today, but temperatures were near freezing and I'm on a drive for survival from West Virginia to Arizona. I'm so close to finishing my game, I just hope I get it done before the end of the jam... and survive the trip. #IndieDev #GameDev
