Carloman, being an old wizard, has his once golden hair (complete with metallic sheen as per his people) going silver, which is a cooler colour with often mystical connotations, representative of great age. This, too, aids him. His world's magic can be intensely detailed!

I mean, they're not really colour-coded, it just happens to be very important and useful for the stuff he does! Colour theory has tangible impacts on things, so a wizard who's very chill and concerned with NOT conjuring fireballs and divine wrath may opt to clothe themselves in calmer colours.

RIP to the place near me that made unreal pork gyoza, they either vanished or rebranded and lost their powers😔

Would be cool if they just stayed literally anywhere I can't see them

I do however love my woodlice and beetles very much

-A single Slaanesh daemon, the vision the commander believes to be his perfected self he pursues, haunting the jungle ruins. I want to see the amount of carnage a single daemon can cause.

-The fickle nature of Chaos: Slaanesh readily drops the commander as its focus when Eldar show up.

-Instead of drug-fuelled cult orgies, the commander leads intricate, esoteric rituals filled to the absolute brim with hundreds of candles, sonorous chanting, clouds of incense, braziers belching coloured flames--intense religious sensory overload encouraged from the shadows

4. Treatment of Chaos
I don't claim to be super familiar with all WH40K media, but Slaanesh does seem to me to get the short end of the stick. I want to see excess and obsession in subtle forms:
-The ego-inflated commander convinced Slaanesh's aid and knowledge is his own greatness and revelations.

3. Characters
Four Imperial Guardsmen drafted from different kinds of worlds: two hive worlders, backwater agriworld, and death world. Different circumstances bring with them different views of imperial life ranging from "the imperium is necessary" to "it's a bloated mess but it's what we have".

2. Themes
The series will explore:
-how propaganda fights to warp perceptions in the face of overwhelming counter-evidence
-contradictory beliefs about the sanctity of human life inside the meat grinder
-the brutal nature of the universe
-the ironic existence of Space Marines
-are xenos okay?

New wizard dropping, get hype

This was on my to-check-out backlog, also I'm a sucker for pseudo-lost media shows from the 90s/2000s, so I had to find it. Sin Eater and The Others are great little movies btw, there's another religious thriller/horror called Stigmata I mixed up with Sin Eater a lot, but it's MUCH different.

It was among my massive backlog of things to check out, and I'm a sucker for obscure 90s/2000s TV, so I had to go look! It seems to have gotten a good reception but the networks weren't a fan. I hope the join those who bemoan its demise.
