I sell records I no longer want, and Americans buy about half of them.
Just went to post office today and now you have to prepay tariffs?!? You take a photo and AI calculates the tariff.
Roughly a 40% tariff.

The Elvis records were $20/apiece at the bookstore, but this minty 1989 German pressing of Bob Mould was $4.95.

Found this on my lunch break!
An OG UK press Allen Toussaint album for a reasonable price… in Edmonton!

This record was in a box of mostly folk and blues records I picked up late last year (multiple Fahey, Kottke, John Hurt, etc).
I think I paid $8 for a ton of awesome albums!
This concert is a hidden gem. Elevates both artists. Guthrie adds some variety and they sing really well together.

I haven’t heard the teasers but that’s what people are saying.

Plastic Ono Band is the best thing John Lennon ever did, better than his Beatles stuff (of which the White Album is his best).

When the world feels shitty, find a John Fahey album and crank it.

There are bad Christmas record covers, and then there’s Conway Twitty’s Christmas record.
Nightmare fuel.
