I'm aware this has been happening for decades and I'm just sticking my nose in but it really is BIZARRE how American sports teams move. I don't think anyone else in the world does that, because it so obviously sucks.

T'au do have one hoof in anime to be fair, but yeah Aeldari have 70s/80s SF anime written all over them.
The very bubbly ships they have in BFG are absolutely part of it, a lot of them could easily have been Zeon or Gamelon ships

There's one from the 50s where the idea is Yosemite Sam is a confederate holdout who thinks the civil war is still going, and it has some excellent gags ...and also a scene where Bugs pretends to be a cowardly slave, and if I tell you he does "the voice" you know what voice I mean.
