For this whole dream sequence I did the colors in acrylic paint on transparent Duralar. I wanted imperfection and texture and this method turned out to be a ton of fun!!! 🤘🏼

This is how I do those dream/nightmare borders - graphite power mixed with acrylic matte medium and water, on frosted Duralar over printouts of the pages.

So sad about the passing of a creative North Star. I wrote these notes-to-self from his words in the special features on the Wild At Heart dvd. They were the mantras that fueled writing Cut Flowers.
