A wall of sea smoke over Lake Superior this morning.

Thankful for the people who hike through miles of snow over two feet deep in order to get incredible photos and videos like this.

Yes, isn't it instructive? I can't imagine being on the Lakes on that kind of weather.

Here's another one for you.

Never gets old for me. Some of the cliffs are over 30 feet high. Lake Superior is a giant tempestuous cauldron.

This is the world we should strive for: humans taking care of animals and stewarding nature and living in harmony with them. This should be the basis of our entire ethos. Anything else is ignorance and moral sickness based on greed and delusion.

This is so amazing. An American Kestrel (Sparrowhawk) feeding her chicks is something almost no one on earth had been able to witness until the advent of bird cams. Just wonderful.
