How about you tell me what I get first?

It’s like people really thought “I wish there was a president who would just make everything alright for me and make everything I don’t like go away. I don’t understand why there isn’t someone who’ll do that.”

And then: “Oh, there is. At last. You have my vote sir. This will surely be excellent.”

The Lowdown is really outstanding. Hugely enjoyable.

Tried out Apple's AI writing tools with something I've been working on.

Didn't seem inclined to help.

I’m going to take this as a sign to take the day off from posting, and I think you should too.

When Douglas Coupland wrote this about 30 years ago it seemed huge, and it just seems so quaint now.

Sidenote: Shit blue v-neck on Bill Burr there. Manages to look an even bigger dickhead than Michael Douglas in Basic Instinct. Never saw I’d see the day.

Religion is a scam. Again.

Well I think we can once and for all conclude that AI is shite then.

So I’m confused. Is Grok an error-prone laughing stock that persistently churns out “cringe idiocy”?

Or is it just a channel for propaganda that reflects the views of its owner - but that frequently goes embarrassingly off-message?

Question is for Elon Musk.

Charlie Kirk being top story on most Australian news sites seems kind of weird. ABC’s second story - “Who was Charlie Kirk?” - says it all. It’s like if Avi Yemeni died and CNN, MSNBC and Fox splashed it.

News .com.au leaning all the way in on the hysteria with their second story.

Mouth taping update: Week two. Still no obvious improvements to sleep, health or respiration. However, Barnaby Joyce’s stupid moronic face is now almost completely obscured. Fuck that grifting motherfucker.

Saddest photo of all time.

I read recently of the benefits of mouth-taping and decided to give it a go.

No clear gains to sleep, breathing or general health so far. But I’m enjoying sticking the used tapes over the photo of degenerate politician Barnaby Joyce on last weekend‘s paper.

I hate that fucker and his stupid face.

Bad news everyone. The weekend is just about over.

Oh hi.

Ahhh, finally...

So it took much fiddling to get the formatting right - Amazon KDP kept printing the main text microscopically tiny.

But finally... FINALLY...!

'Two Brothers Went Fishing' is now out in paperback.

Just in time for Christmas.
