It is a fucked up model indeed, but CDBaby is a one-time fee to distribute to everything, and it's well under $50 last I checked. Maybe worth a move?

I'm in the Alpha testing phase with Subvert. Seems like it *could* be cool, but this isn't the first platform to try this.

I mentioned massive legal repercussions, not fines. A certain amount of distrust in how corporations handle our data is healthy, but I also believe there can be technological solutions to technological problems, and blanket dismissal of proposed solutions will get us nowhere.

Massive, legal repercussions aside, I’ve never seen any evidence to suggest that Roblox would sell this data to anyone. The third-party they to process it use would also be facing incredible criminal penalties for violating the many online child protection laws that span countries.

They are deleted as soon as they are processed, at least, so no amassing will occur.

I posted a song with a 7/4 time signature on Reddit for similar reasons. People thought my drumming was way off, I couldn’t hold a beat, and told me I should stop everything to take lessons.
