Yeah, I should give it a shot. Honestly, the "you're a complex thinker with big complicated ideas" messaging around it keeps putting me off trying it. I'm looking more for "you're a medium-grade dumbass who just wants to put some occasionally-italic words somewhere for someone smart to fix them."

To be clear, I use Notion the way one might spin a pneumatic nail gun around and use the back of it to hammer in nails. I do not ask for Features™ — I want Markdown files with comments and suggestions.

Hell yeah. A zine without Blackout feels like a making a horror movie without having a copy of Fangoria face-up on a table in the background somewhere. Legal, sure, but somehow disrespectful to the medium.
