inherit() is going to be absolutely huge for working with CSS custom properties. Two big things it'll enable:

Nested indentation:

--indent: calc(inherit(--indent, 0) + 1);

Overridable design token defaults:

--primary-color: inherit(--primary-color, blue);

I was thinking the triangle company will surely crash and burn after this. But on second thought, the cheque's probably already been written. It can be reduced to ashes and homie's still getting his payday

I've always wondered is there a good reason that Map does not accept an object in its constructor? Having to call Object.entries feels like needless friction. Eg:

new Map({ a:1, b:2 })

Does anyone here know anything about printing digital illustrations? Eg what type of paper, printer, process is best, or any other important detail

I have a piece of art that I had commissioned that I'd like printed to be framed

✨ Big O ✨

Let me take you on a visual introduction to what big O notation is in my new blog post: samwho.dev/big-o.

With big O notation you can better understand how algorithms will perform in practice, finding orders of magnitude improvements often with very simple changes to your code.

the solution to this was @wicky.nillia.ms's fantastic little calendar library cally, btw! just snapped right in and did exactly what i needed it to do.

plus it's a web component so it works with whatever tech stack you're using

Visited Slimbridge wetlands this weekend. Ticked a fair few birds off my list - avocets, bearded tits, cranes, and many more. Beautiful day for it. Only took these two photos because I was glued to the binoculars most of the time
