Yeah a good chunk of discover post serves come from a bertopic classifier i built a year plus ago, probably need another go around on that but its a pretty different angle than the simclusters stuff

If/once we integrate this into Discover, I might try to add some introspection somewhere. I would love for us to build a "configure your discover preferences" web app, but time is a bit of a limiter there. Maybe Claude can write this for me

It's also not using any sort of diversity filtering so if one cluster is more active than another you're going to see a lot of one thing

These all appear to be "tech journalists"-ish in my clicking around, the clustering is based on who follows you, not who you follow, so this means that people who follow you also follow those other people pretty often

today, have been working on implementing simclusters for a week or so, will publish the code at some point, hopefully along with a blog post about "how to build a properly complex software project with Claude"

Note to people trying it out, this is currently just "revchron of all the posts by people in the simclusters you have been tagged as interested in", many things will tweak here, i will probably add some light sorting ranking and filtering (mostly so one persons posts don't dominate the feed)
