If the Lions lose to the Cowboys next week, this will go down as one of the worst weeks in Lions history.

Per PFF, the Lions generated 17 pressures against the Packers yesterday.

7 of those came from... Alim McNeill.

Hutchinson had 3 across 32 pass rush snaps.
Barnes had 3 across 6 pass rush snaps.

2024 Lions: 15-2
2025 Lions: 7-5

2024 Chiefs: 15-2
2025 Chiefs: 6-6

2024 Bills: 13-4
2025 Bills: 7-4

2024 Ravens: 12-5
2025 Ravens: 6-6

2024 Commanders: 12-5
2025 Commanders: 3-8

2024 Vikings: 14-3
2025 Vikings: 4-7

Sustained success is difficult.

Somehow the Lions defense is getting WORSE as their starters come back
November 27, 2025 at 9:19 PM
Facemask on McNeill but whatever I guess
November 27, 2025 at 9:17 PM
Dude I thought it was actually gonna happen
The Packers are going to get bailed out by a game-winning DPI, aren't they?

Two of Goff's sacks are on him. Needs to pull the trigger.
November 27, 2025 at 8:59 PM
The Lions can't afford to run the ball anymore
November 27, 2025 at 8:54 PM
That's the game
November 27, 2025 at 8:41 PM
We have NO bounce luck
Every time the Lions tip a ball, it lands nowhere near anyone.

Every time the Lions’ pass gets tipped, it lands in the arms of a defender.
November 27, 2025 at 8:25 PM
The NFL invents ways to screw over the Lions. No other way about it. Every year, we experience a new form of inconceivable bullshit.
November 27, 2025 at 7:51 PM
Watson was bobbling the ball, should not have been a catch.

Packers take a quick snap, McNeill is blatantly held, no call.

Calls are going the Packers way today.

Yet another on that touchdown
By my count, the Packers should have had at least 4 time count violations so far.
November 27, 2025 at 6:47 PM
If you’re the Packers, all you need to do is stack the box against the run. With no St. Brown, Goff can’t connect with anyone else and isn’t seeing the field at all.

Last year, the Lions were lucky with no major injuries on offense.

So far, we’re down:

WR: St. Brown, Raymond
TE: LaPorta, Wright, Zylstra
OL: Glasgow, Mahogany, Manu

The injury curse evolved.
November 27, 2025 at 6:37 PM
I don’t mean to exaggerate, but the TE trio of Dwelley, Firkser, and Horton might be the worst I have ever seen in recent memory.

Which is bold considering we had groups like Willson/Toilolo in 2018 or Wright/Mitchell/Zylatra in 2022.

I still think both teams won the Stafford trade, but it’s clear that the Rams REALLY won.
November 24, 2025 at 2:28 AM
This might be the best roster Matthew Stafford has ever played on.

“lead the Browns to a win”
November 24, 2025 at 1:24 AM
In today’s Winner and Losers, I listed Branch as a loser for yet another hit that will surely be fined.

Someone in the comments had an interesting thought: does putting Branch at safety result in more violent hits than at nickel?

I'll give the offensive line credit, they were mostly good from this play onward. Still a bit too much interior pressure for my liking, but the run blocking came alive.
Perfect blocking on that long Gibbs run, everyone hit their mark and Gibbs' speed does the rest

bullet dodged, but barely
