I just received my contributor copy of The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy! My chapter is about the personhood of animals/nature/monsters/robots in BotW and ToTK. Read it to find out the names of my beloved (in-game) horses!

Some law nerding at Durham Cathedral's exhibition of the only surviving 1216 Magna Carta, and the 1225 reissue that someone spilled a bottle of ink over in the 1700s, getting themselves permanently banned from the library.

Had a much-needed week in Napoli before the start of the teaching term. Ate a pizza every day. Saw good architecture. Warm. 10/10.

This morning I read the 2006 Judge Dredd comic 'The Art of Kenny Who?' about a big corporation which gets robots to copy art styles instead of paying the actual human artists to produce work 👀

Spent a few days by Lake Geneva with some wonderful people talking about abortions.

I'm currently making my way through the Foundation series, having never read any Asimov before! I like it... but these books span hundreds of years and many characters, and there's been exactly one (1) woman protagonist so far.
