And once you start becoming a film geek who has seen a comparable amount & variety to what QT has, you start to really how wonky & (sometimes) full of shit his opinions are. At least that was my journey as a guy who was in early High School when Reservoir Dogs was new.

Yes, ol’ QT did a great thing by championing international genre films. But that was nearly 30 years ago at this point. Now anyone with Google and a desire can get started on that film journey.

After rewatching it recently, I think it’s the nunchucks scene because the way they were used is something I’ve never seen on-screen before. And it’s pretty cool that after all these years of watching action movies, I can still see new things.

People who say “Attack of the Clones” is worse are crazy. “Rise of Skywalker” is everything that’s bad and wrong about that type of filmmaking. I know weirdos say this a lot on the internet, but it legitimately killed my love of Star Wars.

express love & gratitude for each other & what we have. So much of our country’s history is ugly in reality, that we choose to try to embrace the good and hopeful side of these old traditions rather than throw them away. The USA is very contradictory place. (2/2)

Its history is one born out of white-washing some terrible events. But it’s been a tradition in our country for so long that even though now most people know that the myth of the origins of the holiday is a lie, we still choose to use it as a reason to gather together with friends & family to (1/2)

A lot of times, it’s because something in the licensing agreement prevents it. I know Arrow said that’s why their Conan the Barbarian release didn’t get new art.
