They do, you just have to enable the track. Also not every keyframe shows up there.

It's alt + scroll wheel. Blackmagic Inc. has decreed this is the optimal way to navigate the timeline and will not let you change it.

It's a legacy thing, designed for working with film and editing for broadcast. Film needs the spinup time and broadcast needs test signals/buffer time. Starting at 1 hour is just the least intrusive way of doing it. Thankfully it can be disabled.
