We were going to have breakfast at Ellen’s Stardust today… but the line was literally around the corner. At least an hour wait in the 22° air… without windchill! No thank you!

Central Park Zoo… Iconic. No I did not go in though they were open. It was too cold to really stand around.

I went to The Frisk Collection Museum today. They did not allow pics inside and I did not get any good pics outside… so here is a couple of Central Park!

I was honestly a little disappointed in the window displays on 5th avenue this morning… but Bergdorf Goodman did not let me down. This in particular was a good one!

A walk through Times Square on our way to the show… and a stop in a souvenir shop had George threatening my life as I made him pose for a pic! LOL

Dinner at Duomo51 before the theatre this evening. Very good Italian fare! I had Lobster ravioli. It was very good but it could have used a little sauce. Just a tiny bit as it ended up eating a bit dry!
Also getting up to the restaurant was a chore as it was in a small Hilton property.

My favorite era of art begins in the 1860s with the French impressionists… and gives birth to the modern era of art! And I was thrilled to see some of my favorites on display today… Van Gough, Cezanne, Picasso, and Matisse!

While I love the MoMA, I am not the biggest fan of modern art. There is not enough discipline, demonstration of technique etc for my taste. However, they had an entire floor dedicated to Ruth Akawa and I must say I was duly impressed. Here is a very small sample of her work.
