It deserves it. It's a standing monument to the best that comics can be. And the closest Marvel came to a Watchmen or Dark Knight Returns (along with Daredevil: Born again).

Oh, I agree 100%! I even said to Mark Millar on twitter that Colin would make a good Steed (some time before Kingsmen). He disagreed, replying Colin Firth could never be accepted as a believable action star after Bridget Jones. I noticed Mark deleted that tweet when Kingsmen was announced!

Hah. Well it does have a few elements that needed improving, a better edit and some of the casting was a bit dodgy. But I appreciated its commitment to the absurd and whimsical!
