A better way: if both have prayed and wrestled w the decision and they still disagree, they should take it to their Christian friends. Ask for prayer and counsel. God will not withhold wisdom when we humble ourselves. God is not giving 2 different answers. One partner (or both!) are resisting God.

The “final say” position falls apart when met w a wife who is following the Spirit when her husband is not. “Well then she must follow her husband, and she will not be held responsible for her husband’s sin.” So she is to remain silent while her husband does things that hurt her and the kids?

What if prolife people had taken all that time and energy and put it into helping women w unplanned pregnancies? Ok maybe the efforts weren’t entirely wasted. But where would we be now if prolife people hadn’t voted for T in 2016?

I’ve been watching that number. What did I think would happen under Dobbs? It never occurred to me that blue states would have more abortions than in the past. What does this say about people who held their noses in 2016 and voted for Trump only to save children? 50 years of prolife efforts, wasted.
