A class with with charisma is nice because you can pass lots of optional speech checks. I personally really enjoyed warlock, which gives you high charisma and also lets you blast things across the screen with magic. Then again, you can respec everything (apart from race) early on, so just have fun.

The writing, game mechanics, and voice acting of BG3 are all superb. It’s a real accomplishment.
