This problem is very present in software job interviews too.

They are often too knowledge driven.

The interviewer wrongly assumes that people should have the same facts as them, when memorized knowledge is really only a small part of problem solving.

Took almost 2 months of reading and practicing.

Quick feedback for @sebastianraschka.com, Yuxi and Vahid - book is great, but I feel like it’d be even more engaging if it showed practical applications first, and then broke down the theory behind it,

or maybe that’s just my learning style ? 😅

This book doesn’t go into much detail on how to secure sponsorships if you're not very extroverted, and it only briefly touches on maintaining the project. It would have been helpful to see more examples of successful creators, like Evan You.

I read this one recently, good insights, but I dont think you need this book @antfu.me . You are already following all the tips and suggestions that Nadia highlighted.

One area that could have been expanded more is the feasibility and financial sustainability of open-source projects.

Yeah, most corporates still enforce OOP (some even suggest to use it while prototyping)
