Even as we haven't worked together for ages I still follow you and are interested in what you have to say... Just thought I'd let you know.

Totally agree... I also have hope that it will be good, but as you say there is still work to be done!

Nah... Probably my setup not being "correct", small things changing leading to being forced to update deps... All when just wanting to work on my own stuff.

I also find it hard to find the "guides" and "tutorials" :(

I agree that it is understandable... Still it always seems to pop up when you want it the least... But that might be "all the time"?

I would probably not go that far... But there is something there! :)

The more I think about it it's probably the concept itself that rub me the wrong way. But maybe that is just the c/zig fanboy inside me speaking, the one that want a value to just be a value?

... but probably "a little bit of A and a little bit of B".

Good question... My main issue is probably that it "spread" through a codebase. Add move here, now this thing here need it... and now that thing there... And so on. And the fact that Juniors (and some seniors as well) think they need it and just add even more "code". Code is a liability!

Move-semantics in c++ was a mistake, benefit in a few places... but mostly just added complexity to otherwise simple problems.

Can't do that... No exceptions!

... Herb made me do it ... *schyyych*

Can't do anything but agree!

Regarding the other errors, it seems your compiler is simply on strike. This can happen occasionally when compiling french code, and should fix itself in a few days.

LOL!
