Back in the 70’s my dads best friend offered him a job in Haiti. My parents went to visit and had decided to go. Young me threatened to catch a ride back to FL on one of the Haitian flotillas. A couple weeks later his friend was shot(not fatal) . We stayed in FL. Not much has changed in Haiti.
