Nothing riddles me with more guilt than the depth of grief I feel about losing my dog. I have lost so many people that I miss dearly, but would it be terrible if I admitted that nothing in my entire life has hurt even remotely as much as losing my best friend?

My heeler has no scary dog presence. he leaped and barked crazily at this possum who just ignored him and continued wandering my yard. The possum was literally on the ground just ambling around, ignoring this big dog that could easily kill it, because the possum could sense that mango is harmless
