I can believe it!

Absolutely on the training thing. I followed a modified couch to half this time and I won’t go without a plan again, lol. I’m the worst about pushing too far/too soon.

This was my third half but the first I ran without injury. And very happy with the time — only racing against myself, lol. Next up is a full marathon.

She really does.

Ha! My wife would likely disagree (but she doesn't like scary movies very much).

That would be awesome, thank you! I'll pass any recs I have your way, too.

Agreed and good to know! The 2 horror movies I hold up as golden examples of how to make really scary movies are The Conjuring 1 & 2. For nonformulaic, I'd say The Hallow (one of my all-time favorites). The Thing is also great (as is the more recent prequel). Weapons was also a LOT of fun.

I had the same worry, haha. The recommendations I got were genuine, at least - some of my friends are very into horror movies. Hereditary in particular was "the scariest shit I've ever seen," according to one. It was not that for me :D

Pretty sure it's A24. They're kind of hit-or-miss for me. Some have been amazing, but some fall flat (Hereditary and Midsommar being 2 that were very popular that I just didn't like).

I've got Bring Her Back on my watchlist, so I'll bump it to the top! I think I've seen Talk to Me, but not positive. I'll go find a trailer.
