welp, looks like im mass following through starter packs now! a bit about me:

-> filipino 🇵🇭 econ grad student, year 1 MS/PhD (although I am looking to move institutions for my PhD!)

-> interests (as of now) in production networks, trade, structural transformation, and (macro)development! 🧵
i wonder what networks look like on blue sky… starter packs should imply more ‘lumpy’ networks, no?

Good time for reading this one again. I’ll make sure to have a few examples in my econometrics courses next year. #econsky

Here is my extremely brief (potted) history of institutions in macro-development thinking -- just before the AJR intervention. I had most of these thoughts prior to the Nobel week, but now they are crystallising.

🚨 Job Market Paper 🚨

If 6 million individuals *voluntarily* put themself in a life-and-death situation, what drove them to make that choice?

My job market paper examines how perceived fairness affected the decision to voluntarily enlist in the US during WW2 #EconJMP #EconJMC #EconTwitter
