Oh nice! I never noticed Slug before, but I ran a game during MoshMo and a player took it.
It didn't cone up much during play, but when the player was killed we made it so that their consciousness still existed on the Slug plane(?)

Yeah I think I'd choose that, also a lot of services are disrupted in December - so I think this option sounds more resilient.

The direct flight feels less stressful to me, but having to depend on a train would make me anxious. Any way to travel down the day before, in case there's a problem with the train? I think I'd consider taking a coach instead.
