Yeah, came here to say the same, try GraalVM, but i have had issues with UI libraries like JavaFX and GraalVM.

I think ctrl+c should just ask for save+quit or quit as input. That is something most people would try to do, if they are panicking, they most likely just want to quit.

For personal use, it should be ok to have the rate limit.

For official use, better maintain something like Azure Container Registry (ACR), ECR, GCR where you can load the image once and use as needed. On your Kubernetes clusters ensure you use ImagePullPolicy correctly.

I think Boeing started this trend in US in recent past(not counting Russian assassinations). Now its becoming an industry practice.
