Wife and I at the intermission part of “Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair”. The film is actually more entertaining since seeing it over two decades ago

In a few hours, we will be sitting with a sold out Iowa audience watching "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair". My wife hasn't seen the two films before. Looking forward to seeing it in a theater since its original release. Its in "D-Box" format which means that the seats move along with the action

My 12:30 pm vinyl is "Chicago Transit Authority" by Chicago which was their incredible debut which highlighted some mean guitar work from the late Terry Kath and some brilliant horn and percussion work. This is another band I'm rediscovering just like with Eart, Wind & Fire and The Isley Brothers.

My 12:37 pm vinyl is "Welcome 2 America" by Prince which also contains extra footage. I'm just trying to postpone doing the dishes.

My 10:36 am vinyl is "Cheap Trick At Budokan-The Complete Concert". Turns that I found out something from producer Jack Douglas, the concert was actually a performance in Osaka because the Budokan footage all sounded horrible. Still a great concert album.

My 3:08 pm vinyl is "Hounds Of Love" by Kate Bush. Everything about this album is flawless. One of the best records ever made.
December 5, 2025 at 9:10 PM
My 1:56 pm vinyl is "Spilt Milk" which was the second and final album by Jellyfish. The band was starting to fall apart during the making of it and the album flopped because Grunge was flooding the market at the time. This excellent album had more of a Glam/Prog sound to it.
December 5, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Let the weekend begin!!! My 1:04 pm vinyl is the absolutely perfect "Bellybutton" by Jellyfish. Such a power pop masterpiece.
December 5, 2025 at 7:06 PM
Watched the documentary "The Perfect Neighbor" on Netflix before my subscription runs out on the 27th. The documentary will tear your heart out. My wife was actually crying during it.

I've cancelled Netflix. We have the $7.99 package with ads. They've decided that you can only watch certain movies if you upgrade to an expensive package. They're making revenue off advertising either way and now they're bullying the customer into paying more in order to get more choices.FUCK 'EM!!!

My 5:32 pm vinyl is "Walkin'" by Miles Davis All Stars because that's the mood I'm in.
December 3, 2025 at 11:41 PM
First day back to work after the holiday weekend. Everyone be careful driving to work and let's show compassion and love towards each other.

My 8:22 Sunday morning vinyl is the always enjoyable "Far East Goes Western" by Tan Shindo because I love how they adapt the traditional Asian instruments to play these classic western tunes.
November 30, 2025 at 2:25 PM
Not looking forward to clearing the Illinois snow today. My Sunday morning vinyl is some good guitar and flute interplay between George Benson & Joe Farrell

November 29, 2025 at 8:26 PM
My 12:58 pm snowed in vinyl is "Petty Country-A Country Music Celebration Of Tom Petty" which contains an excellent cover of "Southern Accents" by Dolly Parton.

My 12:15 pm snowed in vinyl is "Open Our Eyes" by Earth, Wind & Fire who are a band that I've just rediscovered as a joy to listen to.
November 29, 2025 at 6:17 PM
My 11:42 am snowed in vinyl is the brilliant funk masterpiece debut from Betty Davis. I wish that there was available footage of her live performances. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons saw one of her shows and decided that they couldn't have her as an opening act because she'd steal the show.
November 29, 2025 at 5:47 PM
My 11:11 am snowed in vinyl is "From Harper Valley To The Mountain Top: by Jeannie C. Riley who had the hit "Harper Valley P.T.A." back in the day. This album bounces back and forth between secular and christian music. I think my wife bought this one too at some point.
November 29, 2025 at 5:15 PM
My 10:30 am snowed in vinyl is "Come Together" by Ike & Tina Turner which contains "Contact High" which is one of my favorite songs from them.

My 9:47 am vinyl is "The Divine Miss M" by Bette Midler since I'm hanging out snowed in with my wife and planning out what to do while inside today. This is one of my wife's albums.
