At least 15 tickets were issued to Vincent P. Battiloro, 17, of Garwood, following Monday’s crash in Cranford, according to New Jersey’s municipal court records.
Driver, 17, accused of killing 2 N.J. girls identified on 15 tickets tied to crash
Vincent P. Battiloro is charged with leaving the scene of an accident, reckless driving, careless driving, speeding and many other motor vehicle offenses.

A 17-year-old from Garwood was charged with two counts of murder.

Important info if you need to get a Real ID in NJ before the May 7 deadline:
MVC launches ‘Real ID Thursdays’ to address high demand as May 7 deadline looms
The state Motor Vehicle Commission will dedicated event in March and April to help drivers obtain Real ID documents that will be needed after May 7 for domestic air travel.

Was Jimmy Carter the greatest president in my lifetime? Perhaps not. But was he the greatest human being to serve as president in my lifetime? Without a doubt. RIP.
A kiss. A handshake. A hammer. Jimmy Carter lost N.J. But he left an indelible impression.
New Jersey did not vote for him. But many fondly remember the president, who died Sunday at age 100.
