I cant think of a console that benefits more from this treatment other than maybe PC98.
Imagine Norihiko Hibino’s Boktai on vinyl with good headphones. Those guitars and whistles and strings. Ugh. I miss Ship to Shore. We at least deserve BN4-6.

I dont think its just nostalgia speaking when I say the GBA sound is misunderstood; it was the last machine where you heard the actual hardware sing like that.

Finally finished in prep for CVII
Character/monster designs, boss fights, and gimmick dungeons are all a treat.
Relationships, story beats, environs fell a bit flat.
Once I settled on a class I rarely experimented but skill floor was just the right height
BN makes good RPGs

Baffling game.
Localization is ROUGH
Not since MGSV have I seen such tonal whiplash.
Even 3 on PSP had more actual "disaster" segments. 4's mostly helping people tidy up after.
Endings are awful, makes zero sense.
Still had a great time. My kinda game. Love Granzella.

Play on 3DS if you can.
The lonely solipsism of 3D action games perfected. Absence of player direction in conversation with the intrinsic motivators of Video Games. Places to go but where? Things to find but why?
Movement that feels like anything is possible
Sequel is looking hot.

Trying to blend then-contemporary action/adv design with wii idiosyncrasies is fun!
Missed inputs are a fact of life; to live is to suffer
Gorgeous assets, characters, environments.
Sonic Adventure-ass final boss is outstanding.
"FF Oops! All Mini-games!"

university roommate multiplayer RPG of choice. The frontiersman/scifi mash-up works great for the setting and new character classes. Mother Trinity and Deeply Upsetting Horse Dark Falz are s-tier designs. Shame it never got another shot like Portable did. I love the moon

Tokimeki Memorial 2’s best girl spotted at my local thrift store?!?

I love this stuff.
Slow pace obvsly designed for phones so feels sluggish on emulator+controller.
Feels like it should have been a larger episodic thing.
Nothing really ambitious, puzzles are repetitive, but I had fun for a couple hours

Rough and unpolished but that's CoPa's charm
The DS Pokemon visuals are fantastic; low-res textures with cel-shaded models is a treat -- hope this engine stays but I'm looking forward to *both* CoPa2s
This guy sure likes writing *certain stuff* huh

sorry to say its only marginally more gory than your average edgy power fantasy anime.
Knowing that its an adaptation of a Bad End sets expectations for quality/shock.
Stumbles as an OVA and adaptation. Didnt hate it tho?
