Super impressive. The perspective on Epona looks brilliant and better than the original!

Phenomenal level of crybaby:

I'm not sure I would call it a constitutional crisis if the planes don't turn around midflight, so long as he doesn't send more. At this point, the judiciary is still holding.

If they're already there, does he have an obligation to return them outside abuses of the Alien Enemies Act?

Putin is an habitual liar, though in this particular case momentum has been against the Ukrainians in Kursk in the past week especially. Maybe not encirclement, but even if not, they are in dire straits right now.

Based federal judge literally told him to turn back the planes.

So thankful we have a robust judicial system, but can't shake the feeling of being on a rickety old ship being hammered by a storm that's just being held together by a few makeshift planks and a creaking hull.

Reflecting on Angelo's 8th post here, both sides are more easily pulled in this environment by the fringes not by moderates. However, the much of the Left has arguably been less willing to create ecstatic, ideologically emotional memes(the Right will disagree, but this is protective).

I enjoy your interviews, but would also love to see you do some more on-the-ground reporting in the field if you're interested. You were always great at on-scene reporting, in my humble opinion. I hope you get the opportunity to still directly hold feet to the fire in this corrupt administration.

All of that can still be true, and at the same time Americans have disgusting consumptive/consumer habits(when it comes to the media, books, food, and otherwise). Celebrity/personality worship is the tail end of Eleanor Roosevelt's: Stupid people talk about people, average = events, smart = ideas.

No, it's not. It's still up on his feed and Luckovich himself posted that he received a fake e-mail with the citation.

Luckovich confirmed five hours before you posted this that it was a fake email. He did not get cited for it, and the cartoon is till up on his feed.

Concerning in terms of how far he will take presidential pardons in terms of brownshirting.

As an American, I deeply apologize. We tried very hard to keep these clowns out, but virulent angry "forgotten men" culture wars won the day.

Trump's previously dangled one object at a time before ignoring the results of the original controversy and claiming a new goal which would be even better. His current tact is much more flooding the zone.

Thank you for taking the time to check this. I remember the instance, I was wondering if his thinking evolved a bit on this more akin to an immediate overwhelming blitzkrieg, Caesar marching immediately on Rome too fast for Pompey to react, etc...
February 14, 2025 at 4:35 AM
Yea, was completely familiar with the tactic, just wanted the specific quote as a reference point.

Do you remember which interview by chance? Or how long ago approximately it was?
February 14, 2025 at 3:11 AM
Eh to be fair though Zelenskyy is relevant to this conversation. Rare exception.

I love these ancient web articles.

www.cnet.com/tech/service...

"The company also will offer a light-usage program providing three hours of AOL per month for $4.95"
AOL shifts prices, execs
America Online announces that it will offer a $19.95 flat-rate pricing plan for unlimited access to both the Internet and AOL's private network.

Genuinely looks and feels like an external coup to completely disrupt the United States. We're being gutted from the inside out.

I don't know anyone who benefits from the election of Trump/Musk more than our adversaries and Russia. This is like a double Christmas.
February 14, 2025 at 1:28 AM
"including failing to articulate why the agencies are changing policy." This is the best part. Trump couldn't articulate a ham sandwich, so the fact that orders can be challenged on arbitrariness and capriciousness is the chef's kiss.

I'm so glad fascists are often incompetent.

SpaceX has already been awarded a contract as well. DOGE had very little to say. How odd!

Not everyone wants to play childish word games with the President. He demands in truly postmodernist sense that you conform to his alternate reality, or be deprived of journalism.

In a world of transactionalism, trust is not part of the equation.

Carl Sagan pointed out that Jane Goodall studies chimps in the wild because like humans in jail, being caged never brings out the best in us.

Removing latitude for human vulnerability and connection allows CEOs to see us as cogs.
