I know it has already been said many times, but what an addition Müller has been, just the ultimate team guy, when has a star stepped into a team and just been one of the guys? And seeing Gauld come off the bench, this team is just so fun to watch. Fun times being a Whitecaps fan.

I really like Halbouni on the ball, but was he getting cut to pieces with balls over the top? Or was that just everyone in our back line…it didn’t look great

I was at the game, and what I noticed when Müller came on was how much coaching he was doing on the field, impressive from a player who has had 2 practices with the team. He did seem to get annoyed with Utvik a couple times(which I fully understand)

SKC are a very bad team…the gaps in their midfield are crazy, whitecaps are just cutting them to pieces.

Interesting selections and subs: Sigur over Saliba, bring Jebbison on for Tajon..Marsch got those selections wrong. Red card didn’t help, brought Guatemala back in the game

I still do not understand why MLS plays through international windows and tournaments, makes the league not look the greatest. Whitecaps are allowed to have a bad one when they are missing so many.

That was a horrible half to watch, El Salvador late fouls from the start…we better take advantage of the red cards. So hard to get any flow with how this game is.

Hopefully, it would be amazing to have a packed house, cheering on the Whitecaps. A time the size of the stadium is a good thing.

This is spectacular news hopefully this happens. Yes it is far away from skytrain but transit is pretty well set up in the area, also good spot for the people heading in from the valley. 20-25k seat stadium would be perfect.

@footyprime.bsky.social thanks for discussing this point on the pod yesterday.I already have a frustration with the too large stadium we have here in Vancouver. For the Rise season opener, doing it in 60k seat BC Place(30k seats with no upper deck)when your season stadium is only 5k too big a jump.

Vancouver soccer crowds are normally pretty bad during the week, not only taking away people from the island or the interior, but people out in the valley. It is sad that our stadium options are 60k BC Place or 5k swangard…we need a better stadium
