It smells so good. Some of my favourites in there!

To show she's been desexed! All critters who get desexed here get a nice tattoo in their ear, so anyone can tell they're desexed. They usually also get a microchip with owner details on it, but it's nice to know at a glance if someone is likely to be lost, rather than stray.

Yeah, these ones were trapped and very spicy when they came in.

Only if I really really squint. The way it's absolutely not noticeable when I'm having a reaction and my face flushes.

(My brother once exclaimed "jesus christ, do I need to get an EpiPen?" when he saw my face during a mild reaction.)

My two tinies are 8 weeks old and came around well. But they needed intense snuggling.

We do tattoos and microchips. Microchips have all the data, but tattoos are an easy way to tell if strays might actually just be lost.

Wow! Ours are just little dotted circles.

I really hope she brings them inside asap for you.

I should have named him Nutmeg, because that's about the level of spice he's bringing now.
November 29, 2025 at 3:49 AM
I've had a few like that! I've had to put my whole head on their chest to just see if they were purring.

He is SO loud.
November 29, 2025 at 12:35 AM
That helps, but she would have been a sweetheart no matter where she landed.

Here. Have a spotty belly.
November 29, 2025 at 12:20 AM
Fuck the police!
November 29, 2025 at 12:17 AM
Isn't she perfect?

Exactly what Loresy said above. All our pets get a tattoo to show they're desexed if they ever end up in a shelter, or rehomed. And yes, microchipping is mandatory in Tasmania.

She was so lucky someone heard her crying and went searching for her.

It seems to be easing but the crate was a bit of a disaster this morning! Poor little buttons.
November 28, 2025 at 9:44 PM
She is a darling.

She is glorious. Her brother is also adorable, but he is still wandering around looking 100% suspicious of everything so he doesn't photograph white as well yet.

Delightful and snuggly and the best kittens.
November 28, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Isn't she just perfection?
