Yeah it's rough. It's been a minute but my CPA helps a lot by having me note down all my deductions for "research". Every time you buy a game, film, computer, anything remotely related to our field. Just be sure to say goodbye to a good 25-ish% of that contract money.

There are a few ways to read this, none of them flattering. For a GDC supposedly "remaking" its image, this does not do much to help that.
