I'm toying with the idea of making mini cheesecakes for work potluck this Tuesday. Not sure yet. Mom also mentioned making Portuguese custard cups (Pastéis de Nata), which are called queijadas in the Azores.

Still not 100% resolved but taking much longer between events. Now I started looking at hardware, wiring and network configuration problems. Ugh!

Still hoping to have resolved this situation. This ping test is encouraging with 0.0% packet loss. Unfortunately, I didn't think to pull a test before the network settings changes. Not sure if I can ping from a particular switch to see if there's a hardware or port failure.

And sadly the answer is NO. :( I'm not sure, but I think the root switch priority was supposed to be set to STP 0, but the YouTube video I watched gave the example of setting that switch to 4096, which does not appear to be correct. Updating again and waiting.

Did I fix it? Looking at the system logs back to 1/1/25, the earliest alert was 3:31am 10/16 and the latest was 3:07pm 11/26, so I have several hours before I'll know if the alerts have stopped following the network settings changes I made.

I would really love to know why my MMI keeps telling me to use the configuration wizard. Who else is logged in? There are no other authorized users. I think a password reset is in order.

Never can be too safe. The Chinese and the Russians are scanning my ports everyday. Oh, and let's thrown in an Iraq and Iran here and there. Terrible people. This is just a fraction of the traffic my network blocks automatically.

Perfect stay in bed weather, but it's time for breakfast. Bloodwork postponed to next week. I'm not in favor of going out today. I think I'm fried from all the crazy M-F drivers that I prefer to hibernate on weekends and holidays. Yesterday a PM highway crash made for a longer commute home.

This is the sort of insane and irresponsible behavior on our roads that puts our lives in danger. I have the full video and a clear shot of the license plate. I'm considering sending to state police. Driver cut over from passing lane to exit. THIS IS NOT A VIDEO.

Finally took the UniFi LTE Pro used for internet failover offline. The random failovers at 0 bytes are now happening daily. I need to schedule a service call for the internet wiring to my house.

And that's a big fat NO. Time to look into an aftermarket plug-in module to bypass this horribly unreliable remote start. I never had a problem with DroneMobile in my last car. Even if it's the LTE connection there should be alternatives! It's fucking cold outside.

Maybe it's my age, but it irks me when someone starts off a conversation with "Hey". It feels so disrespectful and super informal, like using "You," instead of a proper pronoun, in a foreign language which is often viewed as unacceptable.
