Writing Tip:
As an exercise... get some exercise! Do a physical activity that doesn't require too much thinking. Something repetitive, like running on a treadmill. Then, let your mind drift to your story and see if it sparks ideas! Do it safely, though!

Have some variation in your reading. Don't just stick to novels. Read short stories, novellas, or even have a book of poetry or flash fiction kicking around. Each style has something you can learn from, and something you can emulate.
