My PlayStation 2024 Wrap Up

I did a Yakuza binge this year so I'm not surprised by most played. I played the PC version of Yakuza 7/Like a Dragon this time, otherwise that would've probably beat Yakuza 5. Pretty happy with my results. Glad FFXVI managed to get in there too.

I'm playing Trails in the Sky again (with the JP voices mod) before finally more of the series next year. Hearing some of the differences between the script and dialogue made me realize what a great localization this had. Especially for Estelle.

I'd say Xenosaga Episode I. Without this game I never would've been introduced to the Xeno franchise. I was so excited to finally play an RPG set in space.

It's my favorite Switch exclusive! It has the best overall cast of the series and adds so much to Xeno universe. I can't help but love this game.

Happy 20th Anniversary Dragon Quest VIII! This just an awe inspiring game on the PS2, one that made me fall in love with wide 3D crafted areas to explore in JRPGs. The fact that they gave us an orchestral OST too took the atmosphere to another level. It was just beautiful.

I don't usually post about sales but the Xenoblade series selling 7.17 million on Switch alone (from 1.41 million across Wii U and 3DS) is such an amazing result I can't help but be happy that all the hard work MonolithSoft put into this series is finally paying off!
