with all due respect to oscar isaac, whom i love, this needed an absolute freak steering the ship, like michael fassbender. a re-team with bradley cooper, even.

so yeah, that was born out of bigelow catching deep impact on cable one night and going, “girlfriend, you are so on.” (non-derogatory)

i think it was the sin city subplot’s aesthetics that did me in. in fairness i was only half paying attention. in any event i sent that out into the universe and the arc ended shortly thereafter.
