Yeah the transport police might end up involved

You should be allowed to citizen's arrest these people and make them get off at the next stop

I mean there's probably a pretty interesting podcast in there if you looked at every time a scene or set of Casablanca was parodied, homage, or just re-used in something else

Would the vet not board her for the day? I think every vet I've used has some overnight facilities that aren't very expensive.

The food scene in Aberdeen has grown dramatically in the last few years. Standouts include, Kultura for Phillipino food, Laila's Turkish, Taste of Hong Kong, Madame Mew's or Siam Cottage for Thai, and Heavenly Deserts for deserts and mocktails

Oh, but that would be so much better

Wow she went from black Prada stilettos to pink Gucci ones. What a character arc

You still actually need to prove that the LLM you're boosting is better at doing what you are trying to do, without negative externalities, than just doing it with human effort. You can't just say 'well people already use it'. People also use cocaine, Jeremy.

...is obviously a ridiculous take, but say it about AI and people nod along. Actually, maybe we should only support the tools that are beneficial and effective instead of anything someone has used and says they like. I mean, people do like cocaine and think it makes them more efficient.
December 2, 2025 at 10:35 AM
Wouldn't that make it a Good Friday movie?
December 2, 2025 at 8:11 AM
Oh, and mere improvements to how well LLMs work won't do anything to fix the problem with them being trained on datasets that are either A) biased or B) full of stolen work. You'd need to totally re-create the models with better data
December 1, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Yeah, maybe in a few years it'll be a useful technology, but that's totally irrelevant to the discussion about whether or not we should be using it right now for actually pretty important things. It's not 'ignorance' that's driving people's hatred of LLMs getting shoved into everything.

I thought Lent actually was representing 40 days Jesus spent fasting in the desert or something like that?
