Husband and I went Up North to enjoy the fall. One of our favorite finds: Glen Park Mineral Springs in Onekama. Once the site of a hotel resort where guests came to enjoy the mineral springs. You can still dip your feet in (but it was too cold for us!)

Just finished @thomasha.bsky.social ‘s book, Uncertain Sons, and wow. The title novelette is a stunning closer. A surreal, violent story of monster hunting in the hills around Los Angeles (and what incredible, grotesque monsters!) that veers into sudden tenderness at the end

I have long thought that Thai-Mexican fusion should be a thing, and we found it tonight while vacationing in Milwaukee. This is khao yum gai tod (fried chicken salad with rice) but served with Mexican rice instead of Thai

Got a pleasant surprise email several days ago. The audiobook edition of Passages: Best of NewMyths Anthology, Volume 1 is now out. It contains my first published genre story, the fairy tale, "Snow's Daughter." It appeared way back in 2013! Wow, I've been at this writing thing for a while now.
