The first part is Rebecca Solnit saying: Striking that while feminists are often called man-haters, this man equates masculinity with murder. Grisly public-spectacle murder (and, apparently, only of men). Public hangings were considered too brutish, and the last official public hanging in this country was of a Black man in Kentucky in 1936; the last one in the UK in 1867. Public executions are a feature of Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four on the other hand. Palantir works with ICE, so it is involved in violence and I'd argue crime. The second part is Joe Lonsdale, The co-founder of Palantir. saying: If I’m in charge later, we won’t just have a three strikes law. We will quickly try and hang men after three violent crimes. And yes, we will do it in public to deter others. Our society needs balance. It’s time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable.

Multiple news outlets and documents show that Pete Hegseth was flagged by a fellow National Guardsman as a potential “insider threat” in January 2021 because of a “Deus Vult” tattoo that the soldier believed was associated with white supremacist and extremist groups.​ As a result, Hegseth was pulled from the mission to help guard President Biden’s 2021 inauguration, along with other Guard members who raised extremism concerns, and he later chose to leave the Guard and retire; there is no public record that he was “kicked out” or formally discharged in 2021 specifically for white‑supremacist tattoos

How come, “boys will be boys” when they’re “our boys”, but boys become vile terrorists whenever they’re “their boys?” How come we victim blame, shame and refuse to believe our own daughters when they tell us they’ve been hurt by a local white boy, but if a stranger of color hurts one of our girls, we convert that poor girl into an innocent, honest national martyr, and then demand mass vengeance against an entire group of people? And when are we Americans going to acknowledge, at long last, that the way we raise, indoctrinate, and enculturate our own boys has been a large part of the reason that we have all of these mass shootings in America to begin with? A copy and past text statement: WITNESS INTIMIDATION - Jeffrey Epstein victims charge Trump's Department of Justice with deliberately releasing their names and identifying information, to intimidate them - and others from stepping forward. That's according to a Wednesday article in the Wall Street Journal, which reported that the DOJ failed to redact of dozens of women's names from emails it received from Epstein's estate. One spokeswoman for the House Oversight Committee — which released the emails earlier this month — said the committee's subpoena specifically instructs the DOJ to redact victims' names, though one document shows the full names of 28 victims. "Many of the victims believe this is being done intentionally," wrote attorneys Bradley Edwards and Brittany Henderson, who represent hundreds of Epstein's accusers. AlterNet writes: Attorneys for the victims have reportedly provided the DOJ with a list of approximately 300 names in order to ensure all victims' personal information is redacted. However, apparently the Trump administration had other ideas - to protect HIM, and expose THEM. FBI Director Kash Patel reportedly authorized nearly $1 million in overtime expenditures earlier this year on having roughly 1,000 agents redact the full Epstein files. Agents were reportedly told to flag all mentions of Trump in the files. As of this writing, 5,427 data centers are in the US; that’s up from 2,667 in 2021. So there is an immense and rapidly progressing material investment in these energy-sucking behemoths, which is included in the overall investment costs which are now debt which has been been bet on a very uncertain future. These projects are heavily subsidized (thanks, citizens). The tech bros are already talking about data centers that will consume 5 gigawatts annually. That’s equivalent to dropping the entire island of Cyprus into an existing regional energy grid—the equivalent generation of five nuclear power plants … for one fucking data center. If this sounds insane, it’s not. Merely. It’s absolutely ketamine-fueled psycho fruit-loop bat-shit bonkers.
