Sad and infuriating.

Their drummer, Travis, is in a slew of new bands worth checking out if you haven't already. Mychorrhizae, Kaldeket, Svisselsant, etc.

You may say aloud, "Stephen, this is unhealthy", but I will not be governed by the trappings of this mortal world.

Seriously makes me concerned about the future and how we interact with art in places other than real life, because I bet soon we'll see falsified progress videos and no one will believe in anything anymore.

It makes me lowkey fucking insane watching someone claim Jane Morris Pack's licensed artwork for the most recent Serpent Column LP is AI, when the painting has existed since 2011. Should we be on the lookout? Absolutely. Should we also remember people can actually make incredible art? Fuckin' yeah!!

Because there have been so many instances of ai art, I see people are suddenly willing to throw away hundreds of years of artistic progress because...someone painted a hand wonky? Or they have such incredible technique it "seems impossible". "No one paints like this", ignoring the obvious tells.

Haha. Yeah. The eyes having the golden orbs in em, after sitting with it over night, felt a little off so I redid it. Felt a bit cyborgish? Not what I was going for, wanted to retain some element of "occult mystery", but I still like something about it.

Thank you bud! And thanks for the support and reposts and comments. It's super appreciated. Doing these was a lot of fun. Now I have to retreat back to the world of metal logos and the like. May try doing some Xenovember drawings here and there in between.
