I honestly miss the old days of news at 5 local 1/2 hr followed by national news. & 11PM. That’s it. No 24/7 coverage. It’s made us all a bit crazy.

Never did Black Friday or the weekend/Monday. Too many people😳. I’ve been doing a much better job staying off Amazon. If there is something I like there, that’s not available locally, I go to that businesses website and purchase from there. Groceries only local shops.

That’s one of the weirdest things about being retired, not working on holidays(or weekends). I didn’t mind working them, as I worked night shift. I felt bad for the day shift staff with children. My dtr has been know to be grateful to work on holidays to avoid her in-laws.
