Democrats resemble the “good guys” trapped in the corner — too cautious, too divided, and too worried about appearing unfair. Every time they reach for a “tag” (a strong response, a bold reform, or use of power within the rules), they pull back, afraid of breaking decorum or alienating swing voters.

Republicans play the “bad guys” who bend the rules, coordinate flawlessly, and weaponize procedural power with ruthless precision. They tag in and out — using party discipline, media amplification, and judicial allies — to keep their offensive alive.
