Urban dwelling has been linked with higher cognitive ability across diverse settings. But why? Using Mexican Health and Aging Study data, Joseph Saenz and PSC's @shanedburns.bsky.social compare rural "stayers" to rural-to-urban migrants and find urban dwelling itself confers advantages. #GSA2025
