I do not auto follow back. Don't use me to pad your numbers.
Nuzzi had to read every single word of this book into a microphone. 🤣

Still house hunting with oldest kid, and the things flippers overlook are sometimes fascinating. Two of the places we looked at today already had outlets in the garages for EV charging, though.

A 14 point shift would give Iowa a House delegation that was 3/4 Democrats.

How does anyone fall for this? Anyone can nominate someone for a Nobel, and there's no way the committee would choose Trump, nor would 3000 randos convince anyone that "Americans" oppose anything.

Oldest is bringing his girlfriend to Thanksgiving tomorrow, and I'm nervous to make a good impression! The rest of the family already knows not to expect much from my housekeeping. 😳

Um. I just remembered that these have to go in the fridge until tomorrow, and these dishes don't have lids. 😳

We're only a smidge north of their native range (central Iowa vs SE Iowa). Still solid zone 5.

Last year there were a few fruits, but the critters got them first. This year, a lot of flowers, but no fruit at all (one bloomed way before the other two).

He's planted a bunch of wild (American) plums. I added American Persimmons, American Hazelnuts (first harvest this year: two nuts total), and Pawpaws.

I was mistaken. There are three medlars and four quince, but only one of the medlars is loaded. One is new (replaced one that didn't make it), and one is in a slightly shaded spot, and apparently wasn't as happy this year.

We've had a warm, dry fall this year, so rain hasn't been a bletting worry.

Oldest kid is house hunting again (first deal fell through due to an issue on the seller's end—after he gave them an extra month to fix it), and look what was in a house he toured yesterday!

I just realized my photos app was hiding some folders, which means technically the Ralph meme (which I deleted after posting because I didn't mean to keep it that long) wasn't the most recent! I saved this one a week later:

I do have one very specific folder of memes. But the others I assume won't come up often enough to take up space on my phone. I have kids and I like nature. I need room for my kids being awesome and for the pretty mushroom I found in my yard.

Ok, Clues by Sam are kicking my butt. I bought the puzzle pack, and I'm on #7, plus doing the dailies. I really need a way to take notes in the app like I do with Sudoku. Even a pencil mode would be nice where you don't reveal clues by marking C/I to follow a trail.

It looks like he tried to change this map enough to avoid an accusation of plagiarism, but forgot that the location of states is just where they are IRL. The color codes aren't helpful of one can't tell which state is meant to be which.

This map is terrible and Alex Fitzpatrick should feel embarrassed that the public can see it.

This batch is every 75 minutes, ending at 5 am. I checked occasionally during the 7 pm to 1 am period, and there was a brief bit of pink visible only in the night-mode photos around 10:20 pm. The rest of the time, nothing was visible to the eye or on my cell camera.
