The competition is open to PG and ECR members of the Society of any nationality. It includes a cash prize of £300 and mentions on the SDN website and social media.

Eligible candidates are invited to submit peer-reviewed journal articles published during the 2025 calendar year.

The second session on Impact will take place on 14th November, 4pm GMT. It will be hosted by Professor Helen Abbott (Birmingham) and Dr Hannah Scott (Newcastle).
